Domain Name And Adsense

There are many factors that affect your google adsense earnings. One of the major factors is the domain name you select for your website where you put your google adsense ads for revenue. It is because search engines are URL sensitive; sensitive in way that the best domain names will always rank higher in search engines, and your major earning comes from organic traffic. If you have a good domain name for your website it'll attract more traffic from search engines and hence you revenue will also be increased.
Now I'll try to cover some basic and most discussed issues related to domain names here.

What if You're Using Blogspot Like Me!
If you are using blogspot, its good as google has total control over blogspot sub-domains, so it'll be easier for you to rank in google but this will take much quality content for higher ranking which is quite time consuming. So, I'll advise you to buy a good domain name and link it to your blogspot if you like blogspot or, you can have a good web-hosting and establish a new website.

How to Choose a Good Domain Name!
The first thing you should do is to do a little research on keywords that reflect you website content. Select about 10-15 top keywords related to your website content and after that start rejecting the keywords by matching exactly to your website content till there are left about 2-3 keywords. Now you can blend 2 or 3 keywords to make an attractive keyword. That will be the domain of your website.
The domain name should be based on the type of content you want to have for your website. For example, if you have a website based on body fitness and slimming, you can choose www.slimfit.com . Similarly, if your website is based on software and games, you can choose www.softgames.com .
If you need a top quality domain, you should focus on .com domain and try to find your domain name that you selected in this category. If you don't find your targeted domain name in .com category, go to .net and gradually down.

Where to Buy Affordable Domains!
There are many companies that are offering top quality domains and many of them are also providing low cost domains like .info domain.
.com and .net domains are top quality domains however there prices are high. If you want a low cost domain name you can focus on .info domain which is the cheapest domain in the market.
The best place to buy domains seems to me is GoDaddy which also offer good web hosting. You can have a look on chart of domains right here: http://www.godaddy.com
Other good domain providers which I came across during my research are:
https://www.bluehost.com
http://www.juicyhosting.com
http://www.locodomains.com
Now as you've come to know the basics of choosing a domain name, you should be able to select an affordable and good domain name for your website. Your google adsense earning really depends on the domain name and you'll really feel the difference before and after the new domain for your website.

Online Jobs; Real or, Waste of Time?

Almost everyone wants to earn money online while surfing the internet. You are reading this article explains the fact! When you search online using the master search-engine “google”, you find that there are millions of websites that will offer you an opportunity to earn online but, do you think all of them mean it? If you do, you are in a fantasy. You believe a fairy sitting just besides you!
About some years ago there was actually no way of online earning for Pakistan, India, China, and many other Asian countries, but with the development and
I’ve been investigating this matter on my own without any help as my passion for past few years and I’m still not succeeded in my quest, which means that it is an endless investigation. However, in my quest of finding some real online jobs including part time online jobs and full time jobs, I found some interesting and helpful information that may also help you.
The major things I found that really work to get you some extra income are:
  • Google adsense
  • Freelance programs
These all work for all persons living anywhere in the world including Pakistan, India, China. Let’s take a look on each of the above individually:

Google Adsense:
There are many persons who write an article about adsense and say that you just have to join the adsense and you’re on your way to success, but that 100% wrong. You have to work hard in order to be succeeded with google adsense. I’ve seen many Pakistanis saying that adsense can be joined as Pakistan business, but for that you have to work hard as I’ve said before. Adsense really works! You can say that, “Adsense is one of the real online jobs for you.”
Adsense can also be joined and worked on behalf of part time online jobs, but this can be done only in the case you are passionate about the website on which you have placed the adsense ad units.

How Adsense Works!
Google will provide you with the ad code that you’ve to past on your website. When some one clicks on one of the ads you are paid. The minimum to withdraw is $100 which will be sent to you in the form of cheque.

Freelance Programs:
Some persons want simple online data entry jobs for them or, some persons have great ability to write articles and they want to use their abilities to earn some money by doing online jobs. Here come freelance programs for them.

How Freelance Programs Work!
You have to join a freelance website like Freelancer. After you join, you will see that there is a section named “bid on projects”. This is the section where people seeking for workers post jobs. You can select the category of the job like “data entry jobs”, “article writing”, “article rewriting” etc. and post a bid on some project that suits you.
If, someone wants you to work for him, he/she will contact you. This all is free but you have a limited number of bids every month.

Adsense Ads In Blogger Posts

I've mentioned in my previous post "How To Use Adsense Ad Units", that its necessary to blend the adsense ad units in your website/blog content to make more revenue. But, in blogger its not possible to do in the posts because the javascript is not enabled. To make the adsense codes work in the posts, the code has to be parsed which escapes the javascript but the end result remains the same. And that works actually. You can parse the code right here. So, you succeeded in optimizing your adsense units to put in post content of blogger. Yes!
But do you know that google does not permits publishers to make any change in the adsense ad codes! (You can see yourself right here)
Actually, there's no clear-cut answer provided by google about that matter. Google says that you can make small changes int the adsense search code to comply with XML standards. (You can see it right here)
There are many persons that say that you can parse your adsense code without any fear but I'll not advise you to do that because it seems to be against the polices of google adsense, however, if you gonna do that, please at-least confirm it by submitting a support ticket to google.

Then How To Blend Adsense Ads In Blogger?
You can see my this simple blogger template where, adsense ads are blended in quite a good way. You can also create or, even get a ready-made adsense blogger template.

Adsense And GPTs

GPT (Get-paid-to) programs are well known for their advertising and earning characteristics and include PTC (Paid-to-click), PTR (Paid-to-read), PTP (Paid-to-promote), PTS (Paid-to-signup). (Hope there are others too)
These sites provide advertisers a way to get unique visitors to their sites which can boost up their online business. That's cool for exposing your products to thousands of persons. But what about publishers that publish ads from certain high ranked affiliate programs like google adsense, chitika, bidvertisers and many others!
Do you believe that affiliate programs like google adsense allow you to put you sites containing ads from respective programs in GPT websites?
If you do, you are absolutely wrong. As I've mentioned in my previous article, "Adsense And Traffic Exchanges", that google has a system which detects from where the visitors are coming to your website, it'll take only some days for google to ban you from their system.
Google has clearly told that you should avoid to put your websites in those systems that result in invalid hits, so whats the confusion!
Outcome: Never put your websites that contain adsense ads in programs that assure you unique visitors from a single website.
Then how to get visitors?
The answer is "SEO Optimization" which I'll explain in articles in next few days.

Adsense And Traffic Exchanges

There are many traffic exchanges on websites and all of them are free to use. You can use these traffic exchanges to expose your website/blog to unique visitors.
You can use traffic exchanges to promote your products on the internet which is a great way of online marketing. But google will ban you if you put your those website in traffic exchanges, which are containing adsense ads.

Why is so?
Because, it results in invalid hits to adsense ads and google is highly strict in advertising and publishing polices. Google wants the ads to be clicked only by the person who is interested in the offer described in respective ad.
How google detects that visitors are coming from traffic exchanges?
Very simple. Google has a traffic detection method by which it can be easily determined from where the surfers are coming to your site.
Then how to get traffic?
There are many ways to get traffic to your site with legal way, link:
  • Back-links.
  • Banner-exchange.
  • Posting your url to forums.
Obviously, there are many others but the three which are mentioned above are highly effective. These ways will be described in details in coming few days. Hang on!

"I've seen many blogs and websites where it the adsense ads appear to be ads."

"What do you mean by that sentence?" I know this question will come in mind when you read the above sentence.
The simple and effective way to use adsense ad units is to blend in your website or, blog content, so that the readers aren't disturbed. That's it. If succeed in doing this, you're pursuing your visitors to be the clickers of your adsense ads.
Lets take the example of this blog. If someone visits this blog, he/she will not notice the ads and while reading the article, if he/she finds some good links on adsense ad, he/she will for sure visit that website on the ad. That's what I mean in the above sentence.

How To Customize Adsense Units!
Google gives you some control on the adsense units. You can change the background color, text color, heading color, url color, font format and font size. Apart these, you can also select whether the ads that are displaying on your website be image ads or, text ads or, both.

Here's a simple solution; you can use a simple, small colors picked tool that lets you select colors anywhere from your screen and generates codes for it.
Here's a but useful tool: Color Picker 2.0
Now the adsense ad units are fully in your control.

First you should find your passion about which you could search and write easily. Some people like sports, wrestling, online earning, etc. This is the most important and basic step.

Step 2:
You should create a blog at blogger before you sing-up for adsense because google will not approve your adsense account till you have a some content based blog/website. Just go to blogger.com and sign-up for a blog.
---Remember---
Your blogger name should reflect your niche about which you're going to blog. For example, if you want to blog about sports, you can select some name like "sportsnews.blogspot.com" or, some name related to sports.

Why Blogger!
Because:
  • Google had bought blogger about a few years ago.
  • Its free.
  • Google likes bloggers.
As a result your adsense account will be verified earlier.

Step 3:
After creating blog you should have some content in it to make it attractive for others. You should write unique content on your own. Its easy to write. Just write what comes in your mind about the topic.
Write at-least 8 content rich articles.

Step 4:
Now you are able to submit your request for adsense account. Just go to https://www.google.com/adsense and sign-up for an account.
---Remember---
You should write "Payee Name" as original name because you'll get your payments on this name.

It'll take about 4-5 days for your adsense account to be verified by google.

Step 5:
After you get your adsense account verified, you can create adsense ad units in your account menu. Just create ad unit of your choice and you'll be provided with a code at the end of the process. Copy this whole code and paste it in the blogger by going to "layout" in the blogger dashboard and creating a new gadget (HTML/Javascript gadget).

Step 6:
Wait for about 10 minutes and then view your blog. You'll see that adsense ad units are appearing on your blog but don't click your own ads as it'll get you banned from adsense.

Hope you understood. If not, you can ask anything.
